Is there anything better than eating great food, outside, with a nice bottle of wine that you brought in yourself (and didn’t have to pay a corkage fee for)? No, of course there’s not. This is why Cozy Noodles is such a phenomenal option when you’re looking for a place to grab some dinner without spending a lot of money.
I’ve gone past Cozy Noodles quite a few times while traversing the streets of Wrigleyville without even noticing the small storefront. It wasn’t until my girlfriend suggested that we go there for dinner that the idea even crossed my mind. Wow. I had no idea what I’ve been missing out on.
First, it’s a BYOB restaurant with no corkage fee. So that’s awesome. Second, you can drink your own wine outside. That’s even cooler. Third, the food was incredible. Fourth, the service was top notch. Fifth, with an appetizer sampler and two entrees, our total bill was less than $25.
The first couple times I’ve gone to Cozy, I experimented with the entrees by getting the cashew chicken and the Woon Sen Khee Mao chicken. Both of these dishes were absolutely delicious. But my real favorite dish (which is their most famous dish too) is the Crispy Pad Thai noodle dish. The freshness and flavors just go together perfectly. I like my food spicy, so they even let me get dried red peppers in this dish, which made it even better.
So, if you want an inexpensive, fresh, and BYOB Asian dinner, I would definitely check out Cozy Noodles.
